Last week, I read that Katie had purchased something called the Loft Rabbit Print Utility Blouse. I immediately had to check it out for myself. Squeeeee! I don't have a long-sleeved rabbit shirt for wearing to work--this must be rectified immediately.

So I ordered it and several other things, which all arrived on Tuesday. Amazingly, everything fit and I liked it all, so I decided to kick off a series of outfits featuring my new items today.
As you know, I usually plan and photograph my outfits in advance. Well, this time I planned the outfit on Tuesday and tried it on/photographed it today before work....which gives me new respect for bloggers who photograph their outfit of the day this way on a regular basis. It's so much more efficient to photograph outfits in batches over the weekend the way I usually do.

Of course, many people wake up and look in their closet and decide what to wear just before going to work! This outfit is a perfect don't-know-what-to-wear Friday formula: blouse, nice jeans, flats, necklace. It won't be much longer and I will have to bundle up more than this, so I'm glad I had the chance to make the blouse the center of the outfit while the high temps are still in the 60s.
I have to say, I find the colors of this blouse kind of perplexing. The blouse is called "whisper white" on the web site...but I'd call it closer to cream than white. A reviewer wrote that the rabbits are "dark turquoise" but I think they are closer to dark green--not a true green, but like 80% green/20% teal. So a color that I'm not going to match to either green or teal (or turquoise). Confusing colors notwithstanding, I approve of this rabbit blouse! I am also digging this new necklace--it has a lot of colors, so while maybe it won't match everything, it will go with many things...like ambiguously-colored rabbit blouses.
Unsurprisingly, I don't have any green colored rabbits to share with you, but I thought these dwarf hotots, who look a bit like models with their dramatic eyeliner, would be appropriate.
In other news...Today was somewhat frustrating on the database front at work, but I don't want to talk about that. It was irritating enough to deal with it while I was at work. Now it's the weekend! Wheeeeeee!

Sammy! Yes! (Sorry, I shouldn't encourage him, but he's awesome.) I love how he's literally demonstrating that a certain candidate shits all over every stage he's on.

I LURVE that blouse. I like how there is more than one position/shape of rabbit. In pictures it just looks black and white. Sharp!
