This is what I put on when we got home to our 60 F apartment from our trip to the snowy, beautiful, frozen north. (Thank the relevant gods for thermal under-layers and giant coats. I wore my "stadium coat," because a coat designed for standing in an outdoor sports arena in the winter seemed the closest match for standing around looking at gulls.) We saw some great birds (more on this tomorrow!) but we're both a bit tired tonight. Maybe a lot tired.
