Paging Dr Watson

...The Veterinarian--Sunday, 1/3/16

This is an outfit based on the new Sherlock Holmes movie.  Have you heard about it?  John Watson, DVM, plays the small animal veterinarian side kick to Holmes the sleuth/horse whisperer, who uses his ability to read physical clues and body language of pets, work animals, and other non-human creatures to solve crimes.  You know all those times you read books/saw movies/watched TV shows in which somebody's dog saw the murderer and you thought, Man, too bad they can't ask the dog?  This is the answer to that scenario.

The Arthur Conan Doyle novels set the groundwork for this spin on Holmes in The Hound of the Baskervilles, of course.

Rumor has it that Leonard Nimoy will have a cameo, reprising his famous humpback whale mind-meld scene from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, but since he's been dead for almost a year, I think that's just wishful thinking from the fans.

Unlike the whole animal-centered Sherlock Holmes film, which is totally happening.  I mean, hey, we finally got another Star Wars movie that's good, I figure nearly anything is possible!

For wearing my Dr Watson style wool tweed jacket, I took my inspiration from this combination of a jacket, a goofy graphic T, jeans, and bright pink.

My shirt is kind of a wrinkled mess here, but after a long day petting rabbits and solving crimes, a few wrinkles is the least you can expect.
