Today's Reverse Inspiration features a white skirt, navy jacket, navy patterned blouse, and nude shoes. A very good match!

And the scarf was clearly influenced by the bow on my rabbit blouse.
Navy rabbit blouse (Disney Alice/Kohls), $8.80/wear
White skirt (Walmart), $2.40/wear
Navy cardigan (Kohls), $3.08/wear
Nude wedges by Cole Haan, $8.56/wear
Outfit total: $22.84/wear
Luckily the bowtie is small so it doesn't obscure the rabbit pattern...because here at EQ, it's all about the bunnies. (I'm trying to wear this shirt several times before it gets too cold.)
All about the bunnies is how it should be, agrees this white lionhead. I think he's also happy about the cold front that came through over the weekend, bringing today's high down to 83 F. I can't believe I'm saying "down to 83F" but that's the kind of summer we're having.
In other news...Last week, Robert came home and said, I found this on my desk but I don't know what it is. He handed me a clear cellophane bag (with writing indicating that it was to make employees aware of an upcoming company-wide party) with food in it--2 spheres about the diameter my thumb and forefingers make, one chocolate brown, one white, with sprinkles and sticks (like on a lollipop) sticking out of them. He didn't know whether they were truffles, lollipops, or what.
I took a bite of the chocolate one...and it was, without question, the very best chocolate cake I've ever eaten. I don't say this just because it's been so long since I've had chocolate cake, either--I had some good cake a few months ago when I visited my sister. But this cake was insanely luscious and moist and strongly chocolate flavored. I gave that to Robert and tried the other one, which was a confetti cake, also incredibly good. I think I'm glad I don't know what bakery they contracted with to purchase those little cake balls (though Robert is well-positioned to find out) because I would be all over buying some. Not chocolate though, sadly (#oxalateproblems), but if even the confetti cake was that good, I can only imagine that they're all good.
So I've been enjoying the best summer work blouse and the best cake. What's best in your life lately?

I like the outfit. Those skirts really look good on you. A perfect fit!
Seeing Paxton, Jennifer and Rick has been the best lately!
However, calling Roto Rooter this morning for clogged drains, not so much.
Mom, thanks! I had correctly guessed your best thing :) The clogged drain situation sucks (hah, we hope Roto Rooter "sucks").
