Katie called this outfit "Maroon 6" (a play on the band Maroon 5).

Here's my take on an outfit comprised of 6 pieces, maroon and black. I just changed bag to tights and bracelet to scarf. Big shoulder pads + pencil skirt = a rather different silhouette to what I'm used to.
Maroon/black blazer (thrifted, Le Suit), $0.44/wear+
Black suiting pencil skirt (thrifted, Calvin Klein), $1.25/wear
Black 3/4 sleeve top (thrifted, Liz Claiborne), $1.00/wear+
Black tights
Maroon ankle boots by Dolce Vita, $15.63/wear
*Burgundy pompom infinity scarf (Payless), $6.79/wear+
Outfit total: $25.11/wear
Maroon and burgundy are confusing colors, you know? It's like I recognize that there is a maroon and there is a burgundy, but for the colors in between, it's a coin toss which color name I use. This is how I have "maroon" items that are distinctly different from each other, but this "maroon" blazer and "burgundy" scarf are almost exactly the same color.
In other news...I enjoyed this short clip from Fallout 4 that Robert found. Radroaches are typically pretty wimpy opponents but this Fallout 4 "bug" creating an armored radroach makes for a much tougher enemy.
After a hiatus of over a month and a half, I'm playing Fallout again tonight! It's always hard for me to get back to a computer game after taking any kind of lengthy break, but my interest has been building up and now I'm excited to get back at it.
Today at work, I was working on a quarterly report that my office mate usually does. Not only am I doing her a favor, I'm doing myself a favor too because the base file that is used to create the report is the same base file I need for my some of my own quarterly reports. (I'm going ahead and creating her report too because I'm a good egg.) Because she has pretty clear syntax and at least the minimal amount of commenting (e.g., Remove type T except for sites of type X), I was able to find about four changes that needed to be made to her syntax for it to reflect changes that have occurred in our organization. She was grateful but also a bit like argh because she whipped through her first quarter report and didn't notice or make these updates herself. I am pretty careful about that and in this case, especially careful because I've never done this report before. So I felt like it was a pretty kick-ass type of day.
Now for a kick-ass type of evening, I will head over to Fallout. Deathclaws, beware!

I love using the same tools as other people and being able to share each other's good ideas on how to use them.
Using popular tools is nice for that reason. At least a few times a week I'm like, How do I that? Let's ask google.
I completed the main storyline of Fallout 4 last night. Whew. Not sure yet whether to be happy or sad. (For a long time I kind of piddled around with it while doing other things in the game, but I wanted to be sure to actually finish the storyline before I got bored with the gameplay. Sometimes that happens.)
Woo hoo! I hope it was fun. I feel that I do not quickly get bored with the gameplay but I also don't play a lot of these kinds of games.
My ps4 says I spent over 30 days playing it. Surely that's not right!
Time speeds by in the post-apocalyptic future!
