This Reverse Inspiration from 3 years ago is working the beige cardigan + brown animal print components, but those shoes? Nope.

Instead I'm wearing comfortable, practical tall riding boots in a rich cognac color that works well with the beige and brown.
Beige dress-length cardigan (thrifted, JCP), $1.75/wear
Brown leopard dress (Lands End), $5.00/wear
Brown leggings
Tall cognac boots by Sam Edelman, $9.04/wear
Green scarf (JCP), $1.20/wear
Outfit total: $16.99/wear
Not sure why I'm wearing this outfit with a bright green scarf, but I guess I thought a pop of color was a good idea, and brown, beige, and green make up a kind of woodsy color palette. Also a good idea: dresses with functional pockets.
Today's color scheme goes well with this creepy tree photograph from late October. This eyes-are-watching-you tree is about 2 blocks from our apartment, at the corner where we exit onto the main street out of our neighborhood.
In other news...Holiday shopping help from the Onion. (Note: that thing is NOT a pressure cooker--Mom remembers that from the 70s. It's a sous vide immersion cooker.)
